Congratulations to Mrs. Catalina Urrutia, mother of Kathy Paniagua, for being nominated as the "PARENT OF THE YEAR HONOREE" at the California Association of Bilinigual Education (CABE), 2010.  She received her award on March 11th at the San Jose Convetion Center.  This year, she has been elected as President of E.L. Program ast LAUSD Local District 1.  Congratulations!

 

We would like to thank and acknowledge our parents who attended the 14th Annual Parent Summit and Info-Tech on April 24 at the L.A. Convention Center.  These parents learned about parent programs, special education, school system, and Title 1 and English Learners programs.

 

There will be no ELAC meeting in the month of May.  The next and the last ELAC meeting will be on Tuesday, June 15 at 4:30PM in the school library.
